The fourth edition of the Jelsa Art Biennial under the concept of Concrete Tenderness will be held from July to September 2025 in Jelsa and other places on the island of Hvar.

Concrete Tenderness
Like a freshly poured mass of concrete on once living ecosystems, despite the general promotion of self-care and environmental care in our anthropocentric bubble, we continue to be unconsciously rude to ourselves and the life that surrounds us. The concept of the Jelsa Art Biennial 2025 Concrete Tenderness calls for reflection, looking for alternatives in which soft and temporary life forms co-exist with solid and permanent materials, in which empathy and tenderness are embedded in the monumentality of a post-dystopian, more sustainable, more thoughtful, more caring way of life.
