I seem to have a never-ending curiosity to explore all kinds of materials, expressions and ways of thinking about art. The past few years I’ve been working mostly with music, installation, performance, painting, textile and masks – to build my own imaginary world to live and create in.

Areas of interest: The subconscious, intuition and impulses, the room as a metaphor for an inner landscape, isolation and freedom.

Why are you a part of “Magic Carpets”: To work together with a group of youths/ young adults, exchange thoughts and experiences and to create an artwork to showcase at OpenArt 2026.

Past projects

Det möblerade tomrummet/ the room

Type: Installation, woodwork, textile, music, video, performance etc.

The room’ was a multidisciplinary project which started of during (the pandemic) a time of uncertainty, I needed to find a place of security/belonging within myself. I built a physical small room inspired by colours and patterns from my childhood. I created a character based on myself and let that character act out (not holding back Impulses) in a recorded performance.

What inspires you as an artist? (Among other things) I’m inspired by the absurd, the uncanny, things I can’t really wrap my head around, things that signal ambiguity. It could be sounds, social situations, art installations, hairstyles, objects etc.

What do you think is the purpose of art? I think every artist has their own purpose but to give a more specific answer I would say it’s freedom – freedom of speech, freedom of expression and the freedom to be, act and think unconventionally.
