A Minute of Love
Type: Art Installation
“A Minute of Love” is an installation designed to create a connection between the listener and a letter that does not belong to them. Many different letters pass through a mailbox, and the only people who know the content of the letter are the sender and the recipient. The mailbox holds secrets, pleas, emotions, fines, and bills until the letter reaches its final destination. “To you. From me. For us.” is just one of many letters meant for a specific person, but because of its content, others can also emotionally connect to it and experience that one minute of love.
What inspires you as an artist? I’m driven by the desire to make art that feels authentic, something that people can connect to on a personal level. Whether I’m exploring themes of resilience, growth, or human experience, I want my work to reflect the emotions we all share.
What do you think is the purpose of art? For me, the purpose of art is about connection. It’s a way to express emotions, ideas, and experiences in a way that feels authentic and relatable. I believe art should bridge the gap between people—whether it’s a shared feeling, a story, or a simple observation of life. It’s not just about creating something for its own sake, but about making something that others can understand, feel, and relate to.
