I am a Georgian multimedia artist (b. 1995) based in Tbilisi, primarily working in photography. My artistic journey began with a strong foundation in documentary photography, adhering to the classic traditions of the genre. Recently, however, I have expanded my practice to include experimental textile work alongside conceptual photography, blending these styles to create a distinctive and dynamic body of work. This duality – where documentary meets the experimental – is becoming a defining characteristic of my artistic voice.

Every summer, the Muslim minority of Adjara, Georgia, move from their villages to mountain pastures. Once forced to hide their faith under Soviet rule, they now practice Islam openly but remain marginalized in Orthodox Christian Georgia. The project also reflects a mountain both alive and dying from migration, capturing what may be the last generation of this fading nomadic life.
