Folkestone: MySquare
Sep 14, 2020

#MySquare

The first pop up arts days in Folkestone – the project realised over lockdown by the Folkestone Fringe.

The point of #MySquareFolkestone is to choose a location, find out the 3 words assigned to it (using What 3 Words) and use them as a source of creative inspiration. 3 invited artists responded to squares of their choice and installed their work across Folkestone’s Harbour Arm.

Many people got stuck in creative workshops led by local artists!

Artists: Cameron Simcock, Claire Attia and Joel Snowman
Workshop led by Ruby Bolton of Blue Gold Studio with help from Natasha Luetchford and George Everett Button.

The project is ongoing and online – all the works are uploaded onto a map at the exact 3m² location.
