Past projects you are proud of:
Title: We are Tuta and Manana
Type: Photography
This it the latest project I have been working on and it turned out to be very sacred for me. We are Tuta and Manana is a visual manifestation of women, their friendship, intimacy, and how they reflect on each other. With this project, I wanted to express how women keep their closeness to face the difficulties of everyday life.
What inspires you as an artist? I guess the protests I have against a great number of topics is the main source of my inspiration, but this power of protest and anger is always transformed and settled before I start doing my work. But sometimes inspiration just comes from my regular surroundings, my city, family and friends.
What do you think is the purpose of art? I don’t think art should have a purpose.
