“Magic Carpets” Creative Workshops “The Power of Kindness”

We invite young and old Dainava residents to join the creative workshop “The Power of Kindness”.

This is a great opportunity to get to know contemporary art, to see how many different and diverse forms it can take.

July 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30, 6:00 PM–8:00 PM. , creative workshop with architect, artist Alžběta P. Brůhová (Czech Republic)

August 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 6:00–8:00 PM, creative workshop with gastronomic performance artist Gudrita Lape (Lithuania/Iceland/Spain)

August 25, 27, September 1, 3, 8, 10, 6:00–8:00 PM, creative workshop with clown and movement theater duo Barbora Türkmen Šoganová (Czech Republic) and Orkun Türkmen (Turkey/Czech Republic)

No special skills are required – just curiosity, a desire to communicate and experience something new. Together we will create, talk, and look for miracles in everyday life.

The workshop is part of the Kaunas Biennial project Magic Carpets.

The project is co-funded by the EU Creative Europe Programme and the Lithuanian Culture Institute.
