Photoworks Festival

The first Photoworks Festival – Propositions for Alternative Narratives – by Tbilisi Photo Festival takes place from 24 September to 25 October 2020. The 2020 edition of the festival can be experienced as a unique, limited edition ‘festival in a box and an associated series of online events with international partners and collaborators.

The box is a portable festival where the audience becomes the curator and decides where and how to install it. The online events, meanwhile, unpack the themes and topics the box addresses. The URL and IRL elements combine to bring together a festival that can be experienced anywhere in the world, rethinking what a photography festival can be and who it is for. The boxes can be reserved here and a virtual launch takes place on 24 September at 5pm and can be booked here
